OSI Geospatial Inc. has signed a
$2.2 million contract to provide a fleetwide license for use by the
British Royal Navy.
The navy currently used OSI's tactical navigation software and systems across 75 naval platforms, including submarines.
This new fleetwide licence enables the
Royal Navy to establish a common software baseline across all of its current platforms.
The licence further enables the navy to deploy certain OSI technology across a wide range of new naval users ranging from small specialized craft and land based operations to new platforms.
OSI Geospatial, which is based in
Vancouver and
Philadelphia, provides systems and software to military, government, and commercial customers around the world.
